Project Summary: Discovering Extremadura is an online shop that offers Tourist Experiences in Extremadura. This website is one of the main income sources of Sertumon S.L., a Spanish company located in the region of Plasencia (Cáceres) Company / client Name: SERTUMON S.L. Project Date: 07/2018 Major Task & Responsibilities: Redesign the website with a better and easier navigation architecture, identify the key tasks, set usability goals, develop a prototype and run a usability test with some stakeholders on the design. Build the website accordingly following the results from the usability test. Platform: Responsive Website Design Tools / UX Methods: Card Sorting, Paper prototypes, Sketch. Development Tools: WordPress, CSS3 & PHP Key Performance Metrics: Optimal Workshop metrics.   The Problem The Discovering Extremadura website had a very complex navigation system with a lot of categories. The shopping experience also suffered from poor usability. The Solution The managers of Discovering Extremadura wanted to redesign the website with a more user friendly design. BHCA App

Project Summary: BHCA is an app that track bullying, radicalisation and hate crime. The product allows people to track down victims who may have suffer bullying, radicalisation or hate crime. It helps the victim to report with a direct telephone number o by form. My role was to research, design and test the BHCA app. Company / client Name: BHCA Project Date: 06/2017 – 04/2018 Major Task & Resonsabilities: Carry out user research to discover if there was a user need for a product like this. Identify the key user groups, identify the key tasks, set usability goals, develop a prototype and run a usability test before iterating on the design. Platform: Mobile Design Tools / UX Methods: Used Affinity sorting, Personas, Paper prototypes, Sketch, Affinity Designer. Key Performace Metrics: Success rate, time taken to perform Tasks, # of recommendation to a friend.   The Problem NSPCC figures suggest nearly half of children and young people (46%) have been bullied at school at some point in their lives. Website Bingley Little Theatre

Project Summary The management of Bingley Little Theatre want to renew the current website, and make it more user friendly and clear. My role was to research, design and develop the new website. As it was a voluntary project, I worked on both the user research and website design without a budget to hire additional staff.
